When I
want to do something a little less traditional with the kids, I take them to THE GETTY www.getty.edu/ HERB RITTS EXHIBIT (April 3- august 26 2012). Check out the family room, which
has art and free family programs for your little ones to explore their creative
side. There are beautiful gardens
and a huge grassy area where the kids can play, roll around and just be
kids. The café is wonderful for a
snack, lunch, or even a bottle of wine.
You can bring your own food and set up a picnic on the lawn next to the
Central Garden.
